Chapter on Slaughtering and Sacrificing and What is to Be Said During Slaughter

1317. hadíth

Al-Halabi narrated from Imam (a.s) that he said: "A Jew or a Christian should not slaughter your sacrificial animal for you. If it is a woman, she should slaughter for herself, face the Qiblah, and say: 'I have turned my face towards the One who created the heavens and the earth, inclining to the truth, as a submitter [to Allah (swt)]. O Allah (swt), this is from You and for You.'"
