Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِی فَرِیضَهٍ مِنْ فَرَائِضِ اللَّهِ نَادَی مُنَادٍ یَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَکَ مَا مَضَی فَاسْتَأْنِفِ الْعَمَلَ.

2. And from the previous chain from al-Hassan from his father al-Hussain b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Whoever recites it in his obligatory prayers Allah makes an announcer to announce: O servant of Allah all your past sins have been forgiven; now you pay attention to your deeds.”

أَبِی ره عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ یَحْیَی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ أَبِی بَکْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ لَمْ یَکُنْ کَانَ بَرِیئاً مِنَ الشِّرْکِ وَ أُدْخِلَ فِی دِینِ مُحَمَّدٍ ص وَ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مُؤْمِناً وَ حَاسَبَهُ حِساباً یَسِیراً

1. My father (rah) from Muhammad b. Yahya from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Muhammad b. Hassaan from Ismail b. Mihran from al-Hassan from Sayf b. ’Umayra from Abi Bakr al-Hadhrami from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said: "Whoever recites Surah Bayyinah, is untouched by Polytheism and has entered the religion of Muhammad (s.a.w.s.), and on the Day of Judgment, Allah would raise him as a believer, and his accounting would be very easy."

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: لَا تَمَلُّوا مِنْ قِرَاءَهِ إِذا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ فَإِنَّ مَنْ کَانَتْ قِرَاءَتَهُ فِی نَوَافِلِهِ لَمْ یُصِبْهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِزَلْزَلَهٍ أَبَداً وَ لَمْ یَمُتْ بِهَا وَ لَا بِصَاعِقَهٍ وَ لَا بِآفَهٍ مِنْ آفَاتِ الدُّنْیَا فَإِذَا مَاتَ أُمِرَ بِهِ إِلَی الْجَنَّهِ فَیَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَبْدِی أَبَحْتُکَ جَنَّتِی فَاسْکُنْ مِنْهَا حَیْثُ شِئْتَ وَ هَوِیتَ لَا مَمْنُوعاً وَ لَا مَدْفُوعاً.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Ali b. Ma’bad from his father from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Do not get tired of reciting Surah Iza Zulzilatul Ardh, because whoever recites it in his obligatory or recommended prayers would never face the calamity of an earthquake by Power of Allah and would not die because of earthquake or lightning, nor would his death occur through other calamities of the world. When he dies, it would be ordered that he be taken to Paradise, Allah, the Blessed, would say: My servant you are an ornament for My Paradise, so take your abode in it wherever you like, nothing of this place is inadmissible to you, nor would anything of this place be kept away from you.

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الموفی [الْمُؤْمِنِ] عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْکَانَ عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ الْعَادِیَاتِ وَ أَدْمَنَ قِرَاءَتَهَا بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مَعَ أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ خَاصَّهً وَ کَانَ فِی حَجْرِهِ وَ رُفَقَائِهِ.

1. From the previous chain from Abi Abdillah al-Muwafi [al-Mu’min] from Ibn Muskan from Sulayman b. Khalid from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: One who recites it, would be with Ali (a.s.) on the Day of Judgment and would be among his special companions.

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ الزُّبَیْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ وَ أَکْثَرَ مِنْ قِرَاءَهِ الْقَارِعَهِ آمَنَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِنْ فِتْنَهِ الدَّجَّالِ أَنْ یُؤْمِنَ بِهِ وَ مِنْ فَیْحِ جَهَنَّمَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hussain from Ismail b. al-Zubayr from ’Amru b. Thabit from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said: “Whoever recites this Surah would be kept safe by Allah from acting upon the mischief of Dajjal and he would remain safe from the chastisement of Hell.”

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ أَلْهاکُمُ التَّکاثُرُ فِی فَرِیضَهٍ کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ثَوَابَ أَجْرِ مِائَهِ شَهِیدٍ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا فِی نَافِلَهٍ کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ثَوَابَ خَمْسِینَ شَهِیداً وَ صَلَّی مَعَهُ فِی فَرِیضَتِهِ أَرْبَعُونَ صَفّاً مِنَ الْمَلَائِکَهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.

1. And from the previous chain from al-Hassan from Sa’eed from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Whoever recites Al- Haakumut Takathur (Surah Takathur) in his obligatory Prayer, reward for a hundred martyrs would be written for him by command of Allah and whoever recites it in his recommended prayers, Allah would grant him reward for fifty martyrs. Further, if Allah wills, forty rows of angels would offer prayer with the reciter of Surah Takathur.

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِیَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ قَرَأَ أَلْهاکُمُ التَّکاثُرُ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ وُقِیَ مِنْ فِتْنَهِ الْقَبْرِ.

2. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “One who recites Surah Takathur before going to bed would remain safe from the chastisement of grave.”

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ یَحْیَی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ وَ الْعَصْرِ فِی نَوَافِلِهِ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ مُشْرِقاً وَجْهُهُ ضَاحِکاً سِنُّهُ قَرِیرَهً عَیْنُهُ حَتَّی یَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّهَ.

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Yahya from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Ismail b. Mihran from al-Hassan from al-Hussain b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Whoever recites Surah Asr in his optional prayers, Allah would raise him on the Day of Judgment with cheerful and smiling face and happy and cool eyes, and eventually he would be admitted into Paradise.

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ وَیْلٌ لِکُلِّ هُمَزَهٍ فِی فَرَائِضِهِ أَبْعَدَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ الْفَقْرَ وَ جَلَبَ عَلَیْهِ الرِّزْقَ وَ یَدْفَعُ عَنْهُ مِیتَهَ السَّوْءِ.

1. And from the previous chain from al-Hassan from al-Hussain b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Whoever recites ‘Wailul Lekulle Humazah’ (Surah Humazah) in his obligatory prayers, Allah would remove poverty and destitution from him and make livelihood easy for him and also keep him safe from accidental or bad death.

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ فِی فَرَائِضِهِ أَ لَمْ تَرَ کَیْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّکَ شَهِدَ لَهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ کُلُّ سَهْلٍ وَ جَبَلٍ وَ مَدَرٍ بِأَنَّهُ کَانَ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّینَ وَ یُنَادِی لَهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ مُنَادٍ صَدَقْتُمْ عَلَی عَبْدِی قَبِلْتُ شَهَادَتَکُمْ لَهُ وَ عَلَیْهِ أَدْخِلُوهُ الْجَنَّهَ وَ لَا تُحَاسِبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُ مِمَّنْ أُحِبُّهُ وَ أُحِبُّ عَمَلَهُ.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from al-Hussain b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Surah Feel in his obligatory prayers all deserts, mountains and soil will bear witness that the person is regular in offering prayers. A call will be given out on the Day of Judgment, ‘You had said right about My servant and I have accepted your testimony. Make him enter Paradise on account of this testimony and do not account for his deeds because I love him and his deeds. “
