Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْمُقْرِی عَنْ یُونُسَ بْنِ ظَبْیَانَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ وَ السَّماءِ ذاتِ الْبُرُوجِ فِی فَرَائِضِهِ فَإِنَّهَا سُورَهُ النَّبِیِّینَ کَانَ مَحْشَرُهُ وَ مَوْقِفُهُ مَعَ النَّبِیِّینَ وَ الْمُرْسَلِینَ وَ الصَّالِحِینَ.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from al-Hussain b. Ahmad al-Muqri from Yunis b. Dhabyan from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Surah Buruj in his obligatory prayers, by virtue of the dignity of this Surah, he would be raised among the prophets because this Surah is related to them.”

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ الْمُعَلَّی بْنِ خُنَیْسٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ کَانَتْ قِرَاءَتُهُ فِی فَرَائِضِهِ بِ السَّماءِ وَ الطَّارِقِ کَانَتْ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ جَاهٌ وَ مَنْزِلَهٌ وَ کَانَ مِنْ رُفَقَاءِ النَّبِیِّینَ وَ أَصْحَابِهِمْ فِی الْجَنَّهِ.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hussain from his father from al-Mu’ala b. Khunays from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Whoever recites Surah Tariq in his obligatory prayer would enjoy great prestige and position before Allah on the Day of Judgment and he would be among the friends of the prophets and their companions in Paradise.

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْأَعْلَی فِی فَرِیضَهٍ أَوْ نَافِلَهٍ قِیلَ لَهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّهَ مِنْ أَیِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّهِ شِئْتَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hussain from his father from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Whoever recites it in his obligatory and recommended prayers, it would be said to him on the Day of Judgment: Enter Paradise from whichever door you like.

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِی الْمِعْزَی عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ أَدْمَنَ قِرَاءَهَ هَلْ أَتاکَ حَدِیثُ الْغاشِیَهِ فِی فَرِیضَهٍ أَوْ نَافِلَهٍ غَشَّاهُ اللَّهُ بِرَحْمَتِهِ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَهِ وَ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْنَ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Abi al-Mi’za from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: One who regularly recites: Surah Ghashiya in his obligatory and recommended prayers, Allah’s mercy would pervade him in this world as well as the next, and on the Day of Judgment, Allah would keep that man safe and protected from the chastisement of fire.

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ صَنْدَلٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: اقْرَءُوا سُورَهَ الْفَجْرِ فِی فَرَائِضِکُمْ وَ نَوَافِلِکُمْ فَإِنَّهَا سُورَهٌ لِلْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ ع مَنْ قَرَأَهَا کَانَ مَعَ الْحُسَیْنِ ع یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ فِی دَرَجَتِهِ مِنَ الْجَنَّهِ- إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِیزٌ حَکِیمٌ

1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Sandal from Dawud b. Farqad from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Recite Surah Fajr in your obligatory and recommended prayers. This Surah is related to Imam Husain bin Ali (a.s.). Hence the reciter of this Surah will get a position near Imam Husain (a.s.) in Paradise on the Day of Judgment. Surely Allah is Honored and Wise.”

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ وَ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ کَانَ قِرَاءَتُهُ فِی فَرِیضَهٍ لا أُقْسِمُ بِهذَا الْبَلَدِ کَانَ فِی الدُّنْیَا مَعْرُوفاً أَنَّهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِینَ وَ کَانَ فِی الْآخِرَهِ مَعْرُوفاً أَنَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَکَاناً وَ کَانَ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ مِنْ رُفَقَاءِ النَّبِیِّینَ وَ الشُّهَداءِ وَ الصَّالِحِینَ

1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from his father and al-Hussain b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi al-’Ala from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Surah Balad in his obligatory prayers will be a virtuous man in this world. He would be known on the Day of Judgment as a person of high rank near Allah. He would be a friend of prophets, martyrs and virtuous on the Day of Judgment.”

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُعَاوِیَهَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ أَکْثَرَ قِرَاءَهَ وَ الشَّمْسِ وَ وَ اللَّیْلِ إِذا یَغْشی وَ وَ الضُّحی وَ أَ لَمْ نَشْرَحْ فِی یَوْمٍ أَوْ لَیْلَهٍ لَمْ یَبْقَ شَیْ ءٌ بِحَضْرَتِهِ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ حَتَّی شَعْرُهُ وَ بَشَرُهُ وَ لَحْمُهُ وَ دَمُهُ وَ عُرُوقُهُ وَ عَصَبُهُ وَ عِظَامُهُ وَ جَمِیعُ مَا أَقَلَّتِ الْأَرْضُ مِنْهُ وَ یَقُولُ الرَّبُّ تَبَارَکَ وَ تَعَالَی قَبِلْتُ شَهَادَتَکُمْ لِعَبْدِی وَ أَجَزْتُهَا لَهُ انْطَلِقُوا بِهِ إِلَی جِنَانِی حَتَّی یَتَخَیَّرَ مِنْهَا حَیْثُ مَا أَحَبَّ فَأَعْطُوهُ إِیَّاهَا مِنْ غَیْرِ مَنٍّ وَ لَکِنْ رَحْمَهً مِنِّی وَ فَضْلًا عَلَیْهِ وَ هَنِیئاً لِعَبْدِی.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Muawiyah b. Ammar from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Whoever recites Surah Shams, Surah Lail, Surah Zuha and Surah Alam Nashrah in one day or night, nothing would remain that would not stand witness for his recitation on the Day of Judgment, so much so that the reciter’s hair, face, blood, muscles and even bones would stand witness for him, and everything that grows from the earth would stand witness along with them and Allah would say: I have accepted the evidence of all of you for My servant, now admit him into Paradise and give him all that he likes on My behalf. Along with this also give him more by virtue of My mercy and favor.

بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ شُعَیْبٍ الْعَقَرْقُوفِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ وَ التِّینِ فِی فَرَائِضِهِ وَ نَوَافِلِهِ أُعْطِیَ مِنَ الْجَنَّهِ حَیْثُ یَرْضَی إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.

1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Shu’aib al-’Aqraqufi from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Whoever recites Surah Teen in his obligatory and recommended prayers would be given a place in Paradise of his liking, if Allah wills.

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مُسْکَانَ عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ فِی یَوْمِهِ أَوْ لَیْلَتِهِ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّکَ ثُمَّ مَاتَ فِی یَوْمِهِ أَوْ لَیْلَتِهِ مَاتَ شَهِیداً وَ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ شَهِیداً وَ أَحْیَاهُ شَهِیداً وَ کَانَ کَمَنْ ضَرَبَ بِسَیْفِهِ فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص.

1. And from the previous chain from al-Hassan from Ali b. Muskan from Sulayman b. Khalid from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: If someone recites Surah Alaq in the day or night and then he dies the same day or night it is as though he achieved the rank of martyrdom and he would remain alive like a martyr who might have used his sword along with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.).

أَبِی ره عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ إِنَّا أَنْزَلْناهُ فِی لَیْلَهِ الْقَدْرِ مُجْهِراً بِهَا صَوْتَهُ کَانَ کَالشَّاهِرِ سَیْفَهُ فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا سِرّاً کَانَ کَمُتَشَحِّطٍ بِدَمِهِ فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَهَا عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ مَحَا اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَلْفَ ذَنْبٍ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ.

1. Abi (rah) from Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Sayf b. ’Umayra from a man from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Surah Qadr loudly is like a person who raises sword in the way of Allah and one who recites Surah Qadr in low voice is like a person who is smeared in blood fighting in the way of Allah. One who recites it ten times, Allah will forgive one thousand sins committed by him.”
