295. hadíth
وَ سَأَلَ حُمْرَانُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: عَنْ رَجُلٍ ضَرَبَ مَمْلُوكاً لَهُ فَمَاتَ مِنْ ضَرْبِهِ قَالَ "يُعْتِقُ رَقَبَةً".
Humran asked Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (a.s) about a man who struck his slave, and the slave died as a result of the beating. Imam (a.s) replied: "He must free a slave."
