Aban narrated from Abdur-Rahman ibn Abi Abdullah who said: Abu Abdullah (a.s), said: "Whatever is caught by a snare and has part of it severed, then it is considered dead. However, if you find the rest of its body alive, then perform the proper slaughtering (Zabiha) and eat from it."
