Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Al-Hasan ibn Salih Al-Thawri, from Abu Abdillah (a.s), regarding a man who dies while owing a debt, and a guarantor guarantees it for the creditors. Imam (a.s) said: "If the creditors are satisfied with him, then the deceased is absolved of liability."
