362. hadíth
وَ رُوِيَ: «إِنَّهَا سُمِّيَتْ مِنًى لِأَنَّ، إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ تَمَنَّى هُنَاكَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ اَللَّهُ مَكَانَ اِبْنِهِ كَبْشاً يَأْمُرُهُ بِذَبْحِهِ فِدْيَةً لَهُ ».
"It has been narrated that it was named Mina because Ibrahim (a.s) wished there that Allah (swt) would replace his son with a ram, commanding him to sacrifice it as a ransom for his son."
