Chapter on What is Performed on Behalf of the Deceased Regarding the Pilgrimage of Islam, Whether They Made a Will or Not

1158. hadíth

It was narrated from Asim ibn Humayd, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, who said: I asked Abu Ja'far (a.s) about a man who died without performing the Hajj of Islam and did not include it in his will. Should it be performed on his behalf? Imam (a.s) said: "Yes."
