Ibrahim ibn Mahziyar wrote to Abu Muhammad Imam Hasan ibn Ali (a.s), asking about praying in garments dyed with crimson (qirmaz), saying, "Our companions avoid praying in it." The Imam wrote back: "There is no problem with it at all, and all praise is due to Allah (swt)."
