330. hadíth
وَ نَظَرَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ إِلَى رَجُلٍ طَوِيلِ اَللِّحْيَةِ فَقَالَ «مَا كَانَ هَذَا لَوْ هَيَّأَ مِنْ لِحْيَتِهِ » فَبَلَغَ اَلرَّجُلَ ذَلِكَ فَهَيَّأَ مِنْ لِحْيَتِهِ بَيْنَ اَللِّحْيَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عَلَى اَلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ قَالَ «هَكَذَا فَافْعَلُوا.
"The Messenger of Allah (saws) once saw (looked) a man with a long beard, and said: "It would have been better if he had trimmed his beard. When the man heard this, he trimmed his beard to a moderate length. Then entered to see the Prophet. When the Prophet saw him, He (saws) said: "This is how you should do it. "
