Hisham ibn Salim narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (a.s) that He said: "Trimming the nails on Jumu’ah provides protection from leprosy, insanity, vitiligo, and blindness. If you do not need to trim them, then scrape or clean them."
