Majlisī: حسن أو موثق
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الْكَتَّانُ مِنْ لِبَاسِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَ هُوَ يُنْبِتُ اللَّحْمَ .
1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from and Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar all from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from his father who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Al-Kattan (linen) is of the garment of the Prophets and it helps the flesh to grow,’”
