1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from al-Hassan ibn al-Jahm who has said the following: “I heard al-Rida’ (a.s.), saying, ‘If one saves food for one year, his burden becomes light and he feels comfortable. Abu Ja’far and abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, would not buy anything before reserving their food for one year.”
