3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Misma’i from Isma’il ibn Yasar al-Wasitiy from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah from abu Bakr al-Hadramiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that you must not enter a grave wearing a turban, a shawl, a gown, or shoes. You should open your buttons.’ I then asked, ‘Can one wear al-Khuff (slippers or socks)?’ He replied, ‘There is no offense in wearing al-Khuff if needed or because of fear.’”
