The Book on Dying People

There is No Particular Du’a or Salam in Salah (Prayer) for a Dead Body

704. hadíth Majlisī:

2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from ’Abd Allah ibn Muskan from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘There is no Salam (the phrase of offering greeting of peace) to end Salah (prayer) for a deceased.’”
