Objects on Which Sajdah Is Permissible and What Is Undesirable

1253. hadíth Majlisī:

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Ghiyath ibn Ibrahim who has said the following: “Ja’far (a.s.), has narrated from his father from Ali (a.s.), who have said, ‘One must not perform Sajdah (prostration) on an item on which none of the parts of his body rests.’” (According to Arabic footnote this Hadith is because of Taqiyah)
