1981. hadíth Majlisī: ضعيف

1 - عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ :عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عليه‌السلام قَالَ: قُلِ : "اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي أَخْشَاكَ كَأَنِّي أَرَاكَ وَأَسْعِدْنِي بِتَقْوَاكَ وَلَاتُشْقِنِي بِنَشْطِي لِمَعَاصِيكَ وَخِرْ [لِي] فِي قَضَائِكَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي قَدَرِكَ حَتّى لَاأُحِبَّ تَأْخِيرَ مَا عَجَّلْتَ وَلَاتَعْجِيلَ مَا أَخَّرْتَ وَاجْعَلْ غِنَايَ فِي نَفْسِي وَمَتِّعْنِي بِسَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي وَاجْعَلْهُمَا الْوَارِثَيْنِ مِنِّي وَانْصُرْنِي عَلى مَنْ ظَلَمَنِي وَأَرِنِي فِيهِ قُدْرَتَكَ يَا رَبِّ وَأَقِرَّ بِذلِكَ عَيْنِي"

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Isma’Il ibn Sahl from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jundab from his father from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Say, ‘O Lord, make me fear You as if I see You and help me to be pious before You, do not make me miserable because of my energy to disobey You, chose me for Your determination, bless me with Your measure so I will not love the delay of that which You have hastened and the quickening of what You have delayed. Make me self reliant, benefit me from my hearing, and eyes and make them inherent in me, support me against those who have done injustice to me, and show me Your power in it, O Lord, and make it a delight to my eyes.”’

1982. hadíth Majlisī: مجهول

2 - أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيى، عَنْ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ الْجَصَّاصِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عليه‌السلام) يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلى هَوْلِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مِنَ الدُّنْيَا سَالِماً وَزَوِّجْنِي مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ وَاكْفِنِي مَؤُونَتِي وَمَؤُونَةَ عِيَالِي وَمَؤُونَةَ النَّاسِ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ ".

2. Abu Ali al-Ash’ari has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from abu Sulayman al-Jassas from Ibrahim ibn Maymun who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘O Lord, assist me in the horror of the Day of Judgment, take me out of this world safely, pair me up with the beings having intensely white and deep black eyes ( hur al- ‘ Ayn ) suffice me my needs, the needs of my dependents and the needs of people and include me in Your kindness among Your virtuous servants.’”

1983. hadíth Majlisī: حسن

3 - عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسى، عَنْ حَرِيزٍ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عليه‌السلام) ، قَالَ: قل: قُلِ :" اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ أَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ أَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ، اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عَافِيَتَكَ فِي أُمُورِي كُلِّهَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ خِزْيِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْآخِرَةِ ".

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurara from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “O Lord, I plead to receive from You (my share of) all good which Your knowledge encompasses, I seek protection with You against all evil which is encompassed by Your knowledge, O Lord, I plead before You for good health from You in all of my affairs, I seek protection with You against losses in this world and the torment of the next life.”

1984. hadíth Majlisī: مجهول

4 - مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيى، عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسى؛ وَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ جَمِيعاً، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: كَتَبَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَصِيرٍ يَسْأَلُهُ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ لَهُ فِي أَسْفَلِ كِتَابِهِ دُعَاءً يُعَلِّمُهُ إِيَّاهُ ، يَدْعُو بِهِ ، فَيُعْصَمَ بِهِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ جَامِعاً لِلدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، فَكَتَبَ (عليه‌السلام) بِخَطِّهِ : " بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ يَا مَنْ أَظْهَرَ الْجَمِيلَ وَسَتَرَ الْقَبِيحَ وَلَمْ يَهْتِكِ السِّتْرَ عَنِّي يَا كَرِيمَ الْعَفْوِ يَا حَسَنَ التَّجَاوُزِ يَا وَاسِعَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ يَا بَاسِطَ الْيَدَيْنِ بِالرَّحْمَةِ يَا صَاحِبَ كُلِّ نَجْوى وَيَا مُنْتَهى كُلِّ شَكْوى يَا كَرِيمَ الصَّفْحِ يَا عَظِيمَ الْمَنِّ يَا مُبْتَدِئَ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ قَبْلَ اسْتِحْقَاقِهَا يَا رَبَّاهْ يَا سَيِّدَاهْ يَا مَوْلَاهْ يَا غِيَاثَاهْ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ لَا تَجْعَلَنِي فِي النَّارِ " ثُمَّ تَسْأَلُ مَا بَدَا لَكَ

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa and A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad all from Ali ibn Ziyad has said that Ali ibn Basir once wrote to the Imam asking him to write for him a supplication at the bottom of the page of his own letter with instructions, a supplication that would keep him safe from sins and with comprehensive benefits in this world and in the hereafter. The Imam (a.s.) wrote to me in his own handwriting: “(I begin) in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful, O the One who manifests the good things, hides the bad ones, does not rip apart the covering from me (my privacy), O magnanimous in pardoning, O the One who overlooks faults with grace, whose forgiveness is vast, whose hands are wide open with kindness, who is the companion of every whisperer, the end receiver of complaints, who honorably pardons, the great provider of favors, the initiator of bounties before a recipient would deserve it, O Lord, O Master, O Guardian, O Rescuer, grant al-Salat (favors) upon Muhammad and his family, and I plead before You not to place me in the fire.’”

1985. hadíth Majlisī: صحيح

5 مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيى، عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسى، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ وَأَبِي طَالِبٍ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ : عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عليه‌السلام) قَالَ : " اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ ثِقَتِي فِي كُلِّ كَرْبٍ وَأَنْتَ رَجَائِي فِي كُلِّ شِدَّةٍ وَأَنْتَ لِي فِي كُلِّ أَمْرٍ نَزَلَ بِي ثِقَةٌ وَعُدَّةٌ، كَمْ مِنْ كَرْبٍ يَضْعُفُ عَنْهُ الْفُؤَادُ وَتَقِلُّ فِيهِ الْحِيلَةُ وَيَخْذُلُ عَنْهُ‌ الْقَرِيبُ وَيَشْمَتُ بِهِ الْعَدُوُّ وَتَعْنِينِي فِيهِ الْأُمُورُ أَنْزَلْتُهُ بِكَ وَشَكَوْتُهُ إِلَيْكَ، رَاغِباً فِيهِ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ فَفَرَّجْتَهُ وَكَشَفْتَهُ وَكَفَيْتَنِيهِ فَأَنْتَ وَلِيُّ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ وَصَاحِبُ كُلِّ حَاجَةٍ وَمُنْتَهى كُلِّ رَغْبَةٍ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَثِيراً وَلَكَ الْمَنُّ فَاضِلاً"

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from abu ‘Abd Allah al-Barqi and abu Talib from Bakr ibn Muhammad from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “O Lord, You are my trustee in every distressful condition. You are my hope in all suffering, You are for me in all of my problems, (You are) my trustee and my resources. How many were the distressful conditions wherein the heart weakened, patience ran thin, people near left out and the enemies rejoiced all matters were exhausted? You assisted me in the matters that I had brought before You and complained about them to You, turning away from everyone besides You and You changed it into happiness, removed the hardships and sufficed it (in its removal). You are the patron of all blessings, the provider of all help, the end of all interests, all praise belongs to You a great deal and thanks to You in addition.”

1986. hadíth Majlisī: حسن أو موثق

6 - عَنْهُ، عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ أَبَانٍ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْقُمِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عليه السلام) قَالَ: قُلِ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِجَلَالِكَ وَجَمَالِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ أَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِي كَذَا وَكَذَا ".

6. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban from ‘Isa ibn ‘Abd Allah al- Qummi from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: "Say, ‘O Lord, I plead before You through Your Glory, Beauty and Magnanimity to provide me such and such help,’ one should mention one’s wishes.”

1987. hadíth Majlisī: موثق

7 - عَنْهُ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عليه السلام) قَالَ : قَالَ لِي: أَكْثِرْ مِنْ أَنْ تَقُولَ : " [اللهُمَّ ] لَاتَجْعَلْنِي مِنَ‌الْمُعَارِينَ وَلَاتُخْرِجْنِي مِنَ التَّقْصِيرِ" قَالَ : قُلْتُ : أَمَّا الْمُعَارِينَ فَقَدْ عَرَفْتُ ، فَمَا مَعْنى لَا تُخْرِجْنِي مِنَ التَّقْصِيرِ؟ قَالَ: كُلُّ عَمَلٍ تَعْمَلُهُ تُرِيدُ بِهِ وَجْهَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَكُنْ فِيهِ مُقَصِّراً عِنْدَ نَفْسِكَ، فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ كُلَّهُمْ فِي أَعْمَالِهِمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ـ مُقَصِّرُونَ.

7. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ibn Mahbub from al- Fadl ibn Yunus who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan (a.s.) once said to me, ‘Say very often, “O Lord, do not place me among those whose belief is temporary and do not take me out of shortcomings.” I (the narrator) then asked, ‘I know who the people of temporary belief are, but what is the meaning of, ‘Do not take me out of shortcomings?’ The Imam said, ‘In every good deed you may perform just for the sake of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, you should feel within yourself as falling far short; all people in their deeds between them and Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, fall far short from perfect.’”

1988. hadíth Majlisī: حسن أو موثق

8 - عَنْهُ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ، عَنْ أَبَانٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمنِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عليه السلام): لَقَدْ غَفَرَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ بِكَلِمَتَيْنِ دَعَا بِهِمَا، قَالَ: " للهُمَّ إِنْ تُعَذِّبْنِي فَأَهْلٌ لِذلِكَ أَنَا، وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لِي فَأَهْلٌ لِذلِكَ أَنْتَ" فَغَفَرَ اللهُ لَهُ.

8. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ibn Mahbub from Aban from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘A’Yun who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, forgave a man from the village by two words with which he pleaded before Allah. He said, O Lord, if You punish me, it is because I deserve it and if You forgive me it is worthy of You (Your greatness) and (for this) Allah granted him forgiveness.’”

1989. hadíth Majlisī: مجهول

9 - عَنْهُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي الْبِلَادِ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَنِ الرِّضَا (عليه السلام) قَالَ: "يَا مَنْ دَلَّنِي عَلى نَفْسِهِ وَذَلَّلَ قَلْبِي بِتَصْدِيقِهِ، أَسْأَلُكَ الْأَمْنَ وَالْإِيمَانَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ".

9. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Yahya ibn al- Mubarak from Ibrahim ibn abu al-‘Ala’-Balad, from his uncle from al-Rida (a.s.) who has said the following: “O the One who guided me to His Ownself and humbled my heart due to its affirming His existence, I plead before You for peace and belief in this world and in the hereafter.”

1990. hadíth Majlisī: حسن

10 - عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ (عليهما السلام) فِي فِنَاءِ الْكَعْبَةِ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ حَتّى جَعَلَ مَرَّةً يَتَوَكَّأُ عَلى رِجْلِهِ الْيُمْنى وَمَرَّةً عَلى رِجْلِهِ الْيُسْرى ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ بِصَوْتٍ كَأَنَّهُ بَاكٍ: " يَا سَيِّدِي تُعَذِّبُنِي وَحُبُّكَ فِي قَلْبِي؟! أَمَا وَعِزَّتِكَ لَئِنْ فَعَلْتَ لَتَجْمَعَنَّ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ قَوْمٍ طَالَ مَا عَادَيْتُهُمْ فِيكَ ".

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Muhammad ibn abu Hamza from his father who has said the following: “Once I saw Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) praying in the vicinity of al-Ka’bah in the night. He prolonged in standing so much so that he would lean on his right leg once and then on the left leg. Then I heard him saying with a crying voice, ‘O my Master, will You punish me while there is Your love in my heart? If You will do so You will be placing me together with the people with whom, just for Your sake, I had been enemies all along.’”
