Al-Amālī

5 - وبهذا الاسناد، عن إبراهيم بن محمد الثقفي، قال: أخبرنا إسماعيل ابن أبان الازدي، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن خراش الشيباني، عن العوام بن حوشب، عن التيمي، قال: دخلت على عائشة فحدثتنا أنها رأت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) دعا عليا وفاطمة والحسن والحسين (عليهم السلام): فقال: اللهم هؤلاء أهل بيتي، فأذهب عنهم الرجس وطهرهم تطهيرا (6).

By this isnad from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: Isma`il b. Aban al-Azdi informed us. He said: `Abdullah b. Khirash al-Shaybani narrated to us from al-`Ulum b. Hushub from al-Taymi. He said: I visited `A’isha, and she narrated to us that she saw the Messenger of Allah (s) praying for `Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan, and al-Husayn (as). He was saying: O Allah! These are my Ahl al-Bayt, so remove uncleanliness from them and purify them with a thorough purification.

6 - حدثنا أبي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا الحسين بن محمد بن عامر، عن المعلي بن محمد البصري، عن جعفر بن سليمان، عن عبد الله بن الحكم، عن أبيه، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، قال: قال النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله): إن عليا وصيي وخليفتي، وزوجته فاطمة سيدة نساء العالمين ابنتي، والحسن والحسين سيدا شباب أهل الجنة ولداي، من والاهم فقد والاني، ومن عاداهم فقد عاداني، ومن ناواهم فقد ناواني، ومن جفاهم فقد جفاني، ومن برهم فقد برني، وصل الله من وصلهم، وقطع من قطعهم، ونصر من نصرهم، وأعان من أعانهم، وخذل من خذلهم، اللهم من كان له من أنبيائك ورسلك ثقل وأهل بيت، فعلي وفاطمة والحسن والحسين أهل بيتي وثقلي، فأذهب عنهم الرجس وطهرهم تطهيرا (1).

My father (rh) narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. Muhammad b. `Amer narrated to us from al-Mu`alla b. Muhammad al-Basri rom Ja`far b. Sulayman from `Abdullah b. al-Hakam from his father from Sa`id b. Jubayr from Ibn `Abbas. He said: The Prophet (s) said: Surely, `Ali is my deputy and my vicegerent. His wife, Fatima, the Mistress of the Women of the Worlds, is my daughter. Al-Hasan and al-Husayn, the two Masters of the Youth of Paradise, are my two sons. Whoever aligns with them has aligned with me, and whoever opposes them has opposed me, and whoever defies them has defied me, and whoever is neglectful of them is neglectful of me, and whoever is good to them is good to me. Allah will connect with whoever connects with them, and He will cut off whoever cuts them off, and He will support whoever aids them, and He will cause failure to whoever fails them. O Allah! Each of Your prophets and Your messengers had a heavyweight and a family. So, `Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan, and al-Husayn are my family and my heavyweight; so, remove all uncleanliness from them, and purify them with a thorough purification.

7 - حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي عبد الله الكوفي، قال: حدثنا موسى بن عمران النخعي، عن عمه الحسين بن يزيد النوفلي، عن علي بن سالم، عن أبيه، عن ثابت بن أبي صفية، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من سره أن يجمع الله له الخير كله فليوال عليا بعدي، وليوال أولياءه، وليعاد أعداءه (2).

Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Abi `Abdillah al-Kufi narrated to us. He said: Musa b. `Imran al-Nakha`i narrated to us from his uncle al-Husayn b. Yazid al-Nawfali from `Ali b. Salim from his father from Thabit b. Abi Safiyya from Sa`id b Jubayr from Ibn `Abbas. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever would be gladdened by Allah gathering all goodness for him should align with `Ali after me; and align with his supporters and oppose his enemies.

8 - حدثنا أحمد بن الحسن القطان، قال: حدثنا العباس بن الفضل، قال حدثنا أبو زرعة، قال: حدثنا عثمان بن محمد بن أبي شيبة العبسي، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير، عن الحارث بن حصيرة، عن أبي سليمان زيد بن وهب، عن عبد الله ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): ولايتي وولاية أهل بيتي أمان من النار (3).

Ahmad b. al-Hasan al-Qattan narrated to us. He said: Al-`Abbas b. al-Fadl narrated to us. He said: Abu Zar`a narrated to us. He said: `Uthman b. Muhammad b. Abi Shayba al-`Absi narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. Numayr narrated to us from al-Harith b. Hasira from Abi Sulayman Zayd b. Wahb from `Abdullah b. `Abbas. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: My wilaya and the wilaya of my Ahl al-Bayt is a safeguard from the Fire.

9 - حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن يحيى العطار (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا أبي، عن جعفر بن محمد الفزاري، عن عباد بن يعقوب، عن منصور بن أبي نويرة، عن أبي بكر بن عياش، عن أبي قدامة الفداني، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من من الله عليه بمعرفة أهل بيتي وولايتهم، فقد جمع الله له الخير كله (1).

Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from Ja`far b. Muhammad al-Fazari from `Abbad b. Ya`qub from Mansur b. Abi Nuwayra from Abi Bakr b. `Ayash from Abi Qudama al-Fadani. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever is blessed by Allah with the recognition of my Ahl al-Bayt and their wilaya, Allah will gather all goodness for him.

10 - حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي عبد الله الكوفي، قال: حدثنا موسى بن عمران النخعي، عن عمه الحسين بن يزيد النوفلي، عن الحسن بن علي بن أبي حمزة، عن أبي بصير، قال: قال الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام): من أقام فرائض الله، واجتنب محارم الله، وأحسن الولاية لاهل بيت نبي الله، وتبرأ من أعداء الله عز وجل، فليدخل من أي أبواب الجنة الثمانية شاء (2).

Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Abi `Abdillah al-Kufi narrated to us. He said: Musa b. `Imran al-Nakha`i narrated to us from his uncle al-Husayn b. Yazid al-Nawfali from al-Hasan b. `Ali b. Abi Hamza from Abi Basir. He said: Al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as) said: Whoever establishes the obligations of Allah, abstains from what Allah has prohibited, perfects his wilaya to the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet of Allah, and dissociates from the enemies of Allah will enter from whichever of the eight gates of Paradise that he wishes.

11 - حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن شعيب الجوهري (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا عيسى بن محمد العلوي، قال: حدثنا الحسين بن الحسن الحيري بالكوفة، قال: حدثنا الحسن بن الحسين العرني، عن عمرو بن جميع، عن [ عمرو بن ] (3) أبي المقدام، قال: قال الصادق (عليه السلام) جعفر بن محمد (عليهما السلام): نزلت هاتان الآيتان في أهل ولايتنا وأهل عداوتنا (فأما إن كان من المقربين * فروح وريحان) يعني في قبره (وجنت نعيم) (4) يعني في الآخرة (وأما إن كان من المكذبين الضالين * فنزل من حميم) يعني في قبره (وتصلية جحيم) (5) يعني في الآخرة (6).

Al-Hasan b. `Ali b. Shu`ayb al-Jawhari (ra) narrated to us. He said: `Isa b. Muhammad al-`Alawi narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. al-Hasan al-Hayri narrated to us in Kufa. He said: Al-Hasan b. al-Husayn al-`Urni narrated to us from `Amr b. Jami` from `Amr b. Abi’l Miqdam. He said: Al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as) said: These two verses were revealed for the people of our wilaya and our enemies, “Thus, then, if he is of those brought near, then relief and satisfaction” – meaning, in his grave, “and the Paradise of Bliss” (56:88-89) – meaning, in the Hereafter – “and if he is of those who bely the truth and are misguided, then he will be in boiling water” – meaning, in his grave – “burning in Hell” (56:92-94) – meaning, in the Hereafter.

12 - حدثنا أبي ومحمد بن الحسن (رضي الله عنهما)، قالا: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن أحمد بن محمد بن خالد، قال: حدثنا أبو القاسم عبد الرحمن الكوفي وأبو يوسف يعقوب بن يزيد الانباري الكاتب، عن أبي محمد عبد الله بن محمد الغفاري، عن الحسين بن زيد، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من أحبنا أهل البيت فليحمد الله على أول النعم. قيل: وما أول النعم؟ قال: طيب الولادة، ولا يحبنا إلا من طابت ولادته (1).

My father and Muhammad b. al-Hasan (ra) narrated to us. They said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid. He said: Abu'l Qasim `Abd al-Rahman al-Kufi and Abu Yusuf Ya`qub al-Anbari the scribe narrated to us from Abi Muhammad `Abdullah b. Muhammad al-Ghifari from al-Husayn b. Zayd from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers (as). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever loves us, the Ahl al-Bayt, should praise Allah for the first of blessings. It was said: What is the first of blessings? He said: A pure birth. None loves us except he whose birth is pure.

13 - حدثنا علي بن أحمد بن عبد الله البرقي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا أبي، عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، عن محمد بن عيسى بن عبيد، عن أبي محمد الانصاري، عن غير واحد، عن أبي جعفر الباقر (عليه السلام)، قال: من أصبح يجد برد حبنا على قلبه، فليحمد الله على بادئ النعم. قيل: وما بادئ النعم؟ فقال: طيب المولد (2).

Ali b. Ahmad b. `Abdullah al-Barqi (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father narratred to us from Ahmad b. Abi `Abdillah from Muhammad b. `Isa b. `Ubayd from Abi Muhammad al-Ansari from another person from Abi Ja`far al-Baqir (as). He said: Whoever awakes and finds the coolness of our love upon his heart should praise Allah for the beginning of blessing. It was said: What is the beginning of blessing? So, he said: A pure birth.

14 - حدثنا الحسين بن إبراهيم بن ناتانه (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم، عن أبيه إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عن أبي زياد النهدي، عن عبيد الله بن صالح، عن زيد بن علي، عن أبيه علي بن الحسين، عن أبيه الحسين ابن علي، عن أبيه أمير المؤمنين علي بن أبي طالب (عليهم السلام)، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): يا علي، من أحبني وأحبك وأحب الائمة من ولدك فليحمد الله على طيب مولده، فإنه لا يحبنا إلا من طابت ولادته، ولا يبغضنا إلا من خبثت ولادته (3).

Al-Husayn b. Ibrahim b. Natana (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim narrated to us from his father Ibrahim b. Hashim from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from Abi Ziyad al-Nahdi from `Abdullah b. Salih from Zayd b. `Ali from his father `Ali b. al-Husayn from his father al-Husayn b. `Ali from his father Amir al-Mu'minin `Ali b. Abi Talib (as). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: O `Ali! Whoever loves me, loves you, and loves the Imams from your descendants should praise Allah for his pure birth, for none will love us except he who is pure of birth, and none will hate us except for he who is impure of birth.
