ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā

271 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: قالَالنَّبِيُ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: مَن تَوَلّى‏ غَيْرَ مَوالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالمَلائِكَة وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِين.

31-271 According to the same documentation, on the authority of Ali (a.s.) the Prophet (S) said, “May God’s Curse of God, the angels, and all the people be upon whoever chooses a leader other than his true leader, or chooses a master other than his true master.”

272 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: نَهَىالنَّبِيُ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: عَنْ وَطيِ الحُبالى‏ حَتّى‏ يَضَعنَ.

31-272 According to the same documentation, it is narrated that Ali (a.s.) said, “The Prophet (S) admonished men against making love with pregnant women until they deliver.”

273 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: قالَالنَّبِيُ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: الأَئِمَّةُ مِن قُرَيْشٍ.

31-273 According to the same documentation, on the authority of Ali (a.s.), the Prophet (S) said, “The Imams (a.s.) are all going to be from the Quraysh (tribe).”

274 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: قالَالنَّبِيُ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: مَن كانَ آخِرُ كَلامِهِ الصَّلاةَ عَلِيِّ وَعَلَى عَلِيِّ دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ.

31-274 According to the same documentation, on the authority of Ali (a.s.), the Prophet (S) said, “Whoever’s last words consist of sending blessings and peace upon me and Ali will enter Paradise.”

275 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: إِنَّكُمسَتُعرَضُونَ عَلَى الْبَراءَة مِنِّي، فَلا تَتَبَرَّؤُا مِنّي، فَإِنِّي عَلَى دِينِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ.

31-275 According to the same documentation, it is narrated that Ali (a.s.) said, “If you abandon me you will be attacked. Do not abandon me since I am a follower of Muhammad’s (a.s.) religion.”

276- وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: لَقَدْعِلْمَ المُستَحفِظُونَ مِنْ أَصْحابِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنأَهْلَ صِفِّينَ قَدْ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّه عَلَى لِسانِ نَبِيِّهِ، وَقَدْ خابَ مَنِ افْتَرى‏.

31-276 According to the same documentation, on the authority of Ali (a.s.),“The loyal companions of Muhammad remember that God cursed the people of Saffayn by means of the tongue of His Prophet. It does not matter if anyone lies about this.”

277 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: قالَ لي‏النَّبِيُ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: ما سَلَكتَ طَرِيقاً وَلا فَجّاً إِلاّ سَلَكَ الشَّيْطانُ غَيْر طَرِيقِكَ وَفَجِّكَ.

31-277 According to the same documentation, it is narrated that Ali (a.s.) said that God’s Prophet (S) told him, “Whatever road you take, Satan will go the opposite way.”

278 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: قالَالنَّبِيُ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: يَقْتُلُ الحُسَيْنَ شَرُّ الاُمَّةِ، وَيَتَبَرَّأُ مِن وُلْدِهِ مَن يَكفُرُ بي.

31-278 According to the same documentation, on the authority of Ali (a.s.), the Prophet (S) said, “The most wicked member of this nation will kill Al-Husayn (a.s.). Whoever denounces Al-Husayn’s (a.s.) progeny has denounced me.”

279 - حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بْنِ عمر الحافِظُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا الحَسَنبْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّه الَتمِيمي قالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي قالَ: حَدَّثَني سَيِّدي عَلِىِّ بْنِ مُوسَى الرِّضا، عَنْ أَبيهِ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَر، عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِىٍّ، عَنْ أَبيهِ عَلِىِّ بْنِ الحُسَيْن، عَنْ أَبيهِ الحُسَيْن، عَنْ فاطِمَةَ بِنْت رَسُولُ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلاة وَالسَّلامُ قالَ لِعَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ: مَن كُنْتُ وَلِيَّهُ فَعَلِىٌّ وَلِيُهُ، وَمن كُنْتُ إِمامَهُ فَعَلِىٌّ إِمامُهُ.

31-279 Muhammad ibn Umar al-Hafiz narrated that Al-Hassan ibn Abdullah al-Tamimi quoted on the authority of his father, on the authority of his Master Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.), on the authority of his father Musa ibn Ja’far (a.s.), on the authority of his father Ja’far ibn Muhammad (a.s.), on the authority of his father Muhammad ibn Ali (a.s.), on the authority of his father Ali ibn Al-Husayn (a.s.), on the authority of his father Al-Husayn (a.s.), on the authority of (the Blessed Lady) Fatima - the daughter of God’s Prophet (S) that the Prophet - May Peace and Blessings be upon him - said the following about Ali (a.s.), “Whoever I am the Master of, Ali (a.s.) is his Master of. Whoever I am the Divine Leader of, Ali is the Divine Leader of.”

280 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ: دَفَعَالنَّبِيُ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: الرَّايَةَ يَوْمَ خَيبَرَ إِلَىَّ، فَما بَرِحتُ حَتّى‏ فَتَحَ اللَّه عَلَى يَدِيَ.

31-280 According to the same documentation, it is narrated that Ali (a.s.) said, “On the day of the Battle of Khaybar, the Prophet (S) handed me the flag. I did not stop fighting until God made us win the Battle of Khaybar by means of my hands.”
