Rewards
Reward of reciting Surah Mumtahena
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْخَیَّاطِ عَنْ أَبِی حَمْزَهَ الثُّمَالِیِّ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ الْمُمْتَحِنَهِ فِی فَرَائِضِهِ وَ نَوَافِلِهِ امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ لِلْإِیمَانِ وَ نَوَّرَ لَهُ بَصَرَهُ وَ لَا یُصِیبُهُ فَقْرٌ أَبَداً وَ لَا جُنُونٌ فِی بَدَنِهِ وَ لَا فِی وُلْدِهِ.
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from ’Asim al-Khayyat from Abi Hamzah al-Thumali from Ali b. al-Hussain (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Surah Mumtahena in his obligatory and recommended prayer, Allah examines his heart for belief, and brightens his sight and he is never ever afflicted with poverty, insanity in himself or his children.”
Rewards
Reward of reciting Surah Saff
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ الصَّفِّ وَ أَدْمَنَ قِرَاءَتَهَا فِی فَرَائِضِهِ وَ نَوَافِلِهِ صَفَّهُ اللَّهُ مَعَ مَلَائِکَتِهِ وَ أَنْبِیَائِهِ الْمُرْسَلِینَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from his father from Abi Basir from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said: One who recites Surah Saff and is regular in reciting it in the obligatory prayers, Allah includes him in the row of His angels, prophets and messengers, Insha Allah.
Rewards
Reward of reciting Surah Juma, Munafiqun and Aala
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: الْوَاجِبُ عَلَی کُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ إِذَا کَانَ لَنَا شِیعَهً أَنْ یَقْرَأَ فِی لَیْلَهِ الْجُمُعَهِ بِالْجُمُعَهِ وَ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْأَعْلَی وَ فِی صَلَاهِ الظُّهْرِ بِالْجُمُعَهِ وَ الْمُنَافِقِینَ فَإِذَا فَعَلَ ذَلِکَ فَکَأَنَّمَا یَعْمَلُ کَعَمَلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ کَانَ جَزَاؤُهُ وَ ثَوَابُهُ عَلَی اللَّهِ الْجَنَّهَ.
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Sayf b. ’Umayra from Mansur b. Hazim from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “It is obligatory on every believer who is our Shia to recite Surah Juma and Surah Aala every Friday eve, and recite Surah Juma and Munafiqun in Friday noon prayer. A person doing so is like a person who is performing the deed of the Messenger of Allah (sw). The reward of this deed is that Allah would grant him Paradise.”
Rewards
Reward of reciting Surah Taghabun
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ التَّغَابُنِ فِی فَرِیضَهٍ کَانَتْ شَفِیعَهً لَهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ وَ شَاهِدَ عَدْلٍ عِنْدَ مَنْ یُجِیزُ شَهَادَتَهَا ثُمَّ لَا یُفَارِقُهَا حَتَّی یَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّهَ.
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from al-Hussain b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: One who recites Surah Taghabun in his obligatory prayers it will intercede for him on the Day of Judgment, offer evidence for him in justice, near one who considers its testimony justified for himself, it would not separate from him till it has him admitted in Paradise.
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مِسْکِینٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ بَکْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع یَقُولُ مَنْ قَرَأَ بِالْمُسَبَّحَاتِ کُلِّهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ یَنَامَ لَمْ یَمُتْ حَتَّی یُدْرِکَ الْقَائِمَ ع وَ إِنْ مَاتَ کَانَ فِی جِوَارِ النَّبِیِّ ص.
2. Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) said, “One who recites all the recommendations before going to bed will not die until he sees Qaim-e-Aale Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) and if he dies he will get place in the neighborhood of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.).”

Reward of reciting Surah Talaq and Tahrim
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ الطَّلَاقِ وَ التَّحْرِیمِ فِی فَرِیضَهٍ أَعَاذَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ أَنْ یَکُونَ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ مِمَّنْ یَخَافُ أَوْ یَحْزَنُ وَ عُوفِیَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّهَ بِتِلَاوَتِهِ إِیَّاهُمَا وَ مُحَافَظَتِهِ عَلَیْهِمَا لِأَنَّهُمَا لِلنَّبِیِّ ص.
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan b. Ali from al-Hussain b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Surah Talaq and Tahrim in his obligatory prayers the Almighty Allah would protect him from the fear of the Day of Judgment and save him from Hell. He would enter Paradise due to recitation of these Surahs for they are related to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.).”
Rewards
Reward of reciting Surah Mulk
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ تَبارَکَ الَّذِی بِیَدِهِ الْمُلْکُ فِی الْمَکْتُوبَهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ یَنَامَ لَمْ یَزَلْ فِی أَمَانِ اللَّهِ حَتَّی یُصْبِحَ وَ فِی أَمَانِهِ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ حَتَّی یَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّهَ.
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from his father from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who recites Surah Mulk before going to bed or in his obligatory prayers would remain safe till morning. Also he would remain in Allah’s protection till he enters Paradise.”
Rewards
Reward of reciting Surah Qalam
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مَیْمُونٍ الصَّائِغِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ ن وَ الْقَلَمِ فِی فَرِیضَهٍ أَوْ نَافِلَهٍ آمَنَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِنْ أَنْ یُصِیبَهُ فَقْرٌ أَبَداً وَ أَعَاذَهُ اللَّهُ إِذَا مَاتَ مِنْ ضَمَّهِ الْقَبْرِ.
1. Imam as-Sadiq (a.s.) says: Whoever recites Surah “Noon wal Qalam” in his obligatory or recommended prayers, Allah would always keep him safe and protected from destitution and poverty, and when that man dies, Allah would grant him exemption from the squeeze of the grave.
Rewards
Reward of reciting Surah Haqqah
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مِسْکِینٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: أَکْثِرُوا مِنْ قِرَاءَهِ الْحَاقَّهِ فَإِنَّ قِرَاءَتَهَا فِی الْفَرَائِضِ وَ النَّوَافِلِ مِنَ الْإِیمَانِ بِاللَّهِ وَ رَسُولِهِ لِأَنَّهَا إِنَّمَا نَزَلَتْ فِی أَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع وَ مُعَاوِیَهَ وَ لَمْ یُسْلَبْ قَارِیهَا دِینَهُ حَتَّی یَلْقَی اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Muhammad b. Miskeen from ’Amru b. Shimr from Jabir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: Recite Surah Haqqah very often because recitation of Surah Haqqah in obligatory and recommended prayers is a sign of belief in Allah and His Prophet. It is related to Amirul Momineen (a.s.) and Muawiyah and the religion of the reciter would not remain doubtful and uncertain till he meets Allah.

Reward of reciting Surah Ma’arij
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مِسْکِینٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: أَکْثِرُوا مِنْ قِرَاءَهِ سَأَلَ سَائِلٌ فَإِنَّ مَنْ أَکْثَرَ قِرَاءَتَهَا لَمْ یَسْأَلْهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَی یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ عَنْ ذَنْبٍ عَمِلَهُ وَ أَسْکَنَهُ الْجَنَّهَ مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ ص إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Muhammad b. Miskeen from ’Amru b. Shimr from Jabir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: You people should recite “Sa’ala Saa-elun” (Surah Ma’arij) very much, because whoever recites Surah Ma’arij very much Allah would not count his mistakes on the Day of Judgment, and that man would be in Paradise with the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.), if Allah wills.
