1253. hadíth
وَأَمَّا طَلَبُكَ إِلَيَّ الشَّامَ، فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ لِأُعْطِيَكَ الْيَوْمَ مَا مَنَعْتُكَ أَمْسِ.
As for your demand to me to (hand over) Syria, I cannot give you today what I denied you yesterday.
