Kāmil al-Ziyārāt

6 حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ عَنِ الْخَيْبَرِيِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ الْقُمِّيِّ قَالَ قَالَ لِيَ الرِّضَا (ع) مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ أَبِي بِبَغْدَادَ كَانَ كَمَنْ زَارَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ (ص) وَ قَبْرَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِلَّا أَنَّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَضْلَهُمَا وَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ

6. Abul ‘Abbās Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Qurashi narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl ibn Bazī’, from Al-Khaybari, from Ḥusain ibn Muḥammad Al-Ash’ari Al-Qummi, who said: Imam Riďā (a.s.) said to me: Those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of my father (a.s.) in Baghdad are like those who have gone to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) and the grave of the Commander of the Believers (a.s.), except that the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) and the Commander of the Believers (a.s.) have their own specific ranks. The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb, from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl ibn Bazī’, from Al-Khaybari, from Ḥusain ibn Muḥammad Al-Ash’ari Al-Qummi, from Imam Riďā (a.s.).

7 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (ع) عَمَّنْ زَارَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ (ص) قَاصِداً قَالَ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَ مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (ع) فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

7. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Abdil Raḥmān ibn Abī Najrān, who said: I asked Abā Ja’far (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) with the (sole) intention of Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “(Their reward is) Paradise and the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Abil Ḥasan (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) is (also) Paradise.”

8 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنِ الرِّضَا (ع) قَالَ زِيَارَةُ قَبْرِ أَبِي مِثْلُ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ

8. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn Aḥmad ibn Walīd narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali Al-Washā, who said: Imam Riďā (a.s.) said: The Ziyārah of the grave of my father (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) is the same as the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.).

9 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُبْدُوسٍ الْخَلَنْجِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَحِيمٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلرِّضَا (ع) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ إِنَّ زِيَارَةَ قَبْرِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (ع) بِبَغْدَادَ عَلَيْنَا فِيهَا مَشَقَّةٌ وَ إِنَّمَا نأته [نَأْتِيهِ فَنُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحِيطَانِ فَمَا لِمَنْ زَارَهُ مِنَ الثَّوَابِ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ وَ اللَّهِ مِثْلُ مَا لِمَنْ أَتَى قَبْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص

9. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn Aḥmad ibn Walīd narrated to me from Sa’d, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, from Aḥmad ibn ‘Ubdūs Al-Khalanji, from his father Raḥīm, who said: I said to Imam Riďā (a.s.), “May I sacrifice myself for you! We face some difficulties when we go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Abil Ḥasan (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) in Baghdad. Therefore, when we go to his Ziyārah, we say Salām to him from behind the walls. What are the rewards for those who go to his Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied: I swear to Allāh that it is the same as the rewards for going to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.).

10 وَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ رَحِيمٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلرِّضَا (ع) إِنَّ زِيَارَةَ قَبْرِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (ع) بِبَغْدَادَ عَلَيْنَا فِيهَا مَشَقَّةٌ فَمَا لِمَنْ زَارَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ مِثْلُ مَا لِمَنْ أَتَى قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) مِنَ الثَّوَابِ قَالَ وَ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ وَ جَلَسَ وَ ذَكَرَ بَغْدَادَ وَ رَدَاءَةَ أَهْلِهَا وَ مَا يُتَوَقَّعُ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ بِهِمْ مِنَ الْخَسْفِ وَ الصَّيْحَةِ وَ الصَّوَاعِقِ وَ عَدَّدَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَشْيَاءَ قَالَ فَقُمْتُ لِأَخْرُجَ فَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (ع) وَ هُوَ يَقُولُ أَمَّا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ (ع) فَلَا

10. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Ali ibn Ḥakam, from Raḥīm, who said: I said to Imam Riďā (s.a.a.w.), “We face some difficulties when we go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Abil Ḥasan (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) in Baghdad. What are the rewards for those who go to his Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Its rewards are the same as the rewards for going to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.).” (After Imam (a.s.) said this) a man entered, said Salām to the Imam (a.s.), and sat down. He started talking about Baghdad and the inferiority of its people and about the afflictions, the collapsing of the earth, the clamour, and the bolts of lightning which are expected to befall Baghdad. Then I got up to leave and I heard Abal Ḥasan (Imam Riďā (a.s.)) say, “As for Abul Ḥasan (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)), none (of this will affect him).”

11 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ حَمْدَانَ الْقَلَانِسِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحُضَيْنِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الثَّالِثِ (ع) أَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ وَ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) فَكَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) الْمُقَدَّمُ وَ هَذَا أَجْمَعُ وَ أَعْظَمُ أَجْراً

11. Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from Ḥamdān Al-Qalānisi, from ‘Ali ibn Muḥammad Al-Ḥuďayni, from ‘Ali ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Marwān, from Ibrāhīm ibn ‘Uqbah, who said: I wrote to Abil Ḥasan the Third (Imam Hādi (a.s.)) asking him about the Ziyārah of the grave of Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Ḥusain (a.s.)) and about the Ziyārah of the graves of Abil Ḥasan (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) and Abī Ja’far (Imam Jawād (a.s.)). Imam (a.s.) replied, “Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Ḥusain (a.s.)) comes first but that (the Ziyārah of Imam Kāżim and Imam Jawād) is more complete and has a greater reward.”

12 حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (ع) عَمَّنْ زَارَ النَّبِيَّ (ص) قَاصِداً قَالَ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَ مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (ع) فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

12. ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Abdil Raḥmān ibn Abī Najrān, who said: I asked Abā Ja’far (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the Prophet (s.a.a.w.) with the (sole) intention of Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “(Their reward is) Paradise and the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Abil Ḥasan (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) is (also) Paradise.”

1 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ الْكُوفِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (ع) قَالَ تَقُولُ بِبَغْدَادَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ اللَّهِ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْأَرْضِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنْ بَدَا لِلَّهِ فِي شَأْنِهِ أَتَيْتُكَ عَارِفاً بِحَقِّكَ مُعَادِياً لِأَعْدَائِكَ فَاشْفَعْ لِي عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ- قَالَ وَ ادْعُ اللَّهَ وَ اسْأَلْ حَاجَتَكَ قَالَ وَ سَلِّمْ بِهَذَا عَلَى أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ (ع) وَ قَالَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ زِيَارَةَ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ (ع) فَاغْتَسِلْ وَ تَنَظَّفْ وَ الْبَسْ ثَوْبَيْكَ الطَّاهِرَيْنِ وَ زُرْ قَبْرَ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ع وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَى الرِّضَا (ع) وَ قُلْ حِينَ تَصِيرُ عِنْدَ قَبْرِ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ (ع) السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ اللَّهِ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْأَرْضِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنْ بَدَا لِلَّهِ فِي شَأْنِهِ أَتَيْتُكَ زَائِراً عَارِفاً بِحَقِّكَ مُعَادِياً لِأَعْدَائِكَ مُوَالِياً لِأَوْلِيَائِكَ- فَاشْفَعْ لِي عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ ثُمَّ سَلْ حَاجَتَكَ ثُمَّ سَلِّمْ عَلَى أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَوَادِ بِهَذِهِ الْأَحْرُفِ وَ ابْدَأْ بِالْغُسْلِ وَ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْإِمَامِ الْبَرِّ التَّقِيِّ النَّقِيِّ الرَّضِيِّ الْمَرْضِيِّ وَ حُجَّتِكَ عَلَى مَنْ فَوْقَ الْأَرَضِينَ وَ مَنْ تَحْتَ الثَّرَى صَلَاةً كَثِيرَةً تَامَّةً [نَامِيَةً] زَاكِيَةً مُبَارَكَةً مُتَوَاصِلَةً مُتَوَاتِرَةً مُتَرَادِفَةً كَأَفْضَلِ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا إِمَامَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ [يَا إِمَامَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ وَارِثَ النَّبِيِّينَ] السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيفَةَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ سُلَالَةَ الْوَصِيِّينَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ اللَّهِ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْأَرْضِ- أَتَيْتُكَ زَائِراً عَارِفاً بِحَقِّكَ مُعَادِياً لِأَعْدَائِكَ مُوَالِياً لِأَوْلِيَائِكَ- فَاشْفَعْ لِي عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ ثُمَّ سَلْ حَاجَتَكَ فَإِنَّهَا تُقْضَى إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى قَالَ وَ تَقُولُ عِنْدَ قَبْرِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (ع) بِبَغْدَادَ وَ يُجْزِئُ فِي الْمَوَاطِنِ كُلِّهَا أَنْ تَقُولَ السَّلَامُ عَلَى أَوْلِيَاءِ اللَّهِ وَ أَصْفِيَائِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى أُمَنَاءِ اللَّهِ وَ أَحِبَّائِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى أَنْصَارِ اللَّهِ وَ خُلَفَائِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى مَحَالِّ مَعْرِفَةِ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى مَسَاكِنِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى مَظَاهِرٍ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ وَ نَهْيِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى الدُّعَاةِ إِلَى اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى الْمُسْتَقِرِّينَ فِي مَرَضَاتِ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى الْمُخْلِصِينَ فِي طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى الْأَدِلَّاءِ عَلَى اللَّهِ- السَّلَامُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مَنْ وَالاهُمْ فَقَدْ وَالَى اللَّهَ وَ مَنْ عَادَاهُمْ فَقَدْ عَادَى اللَّهَ وَ مَنْ عَرَفَهُمْ فَقَدْ عَرَفَ اللَّهَ وَ مَنْ جَهِلَهُمْ فَقَدْ جَهِلَ اللَّهَ وَ مَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِهِمْ فَقَدِ اعْتَصَمَ بِاللَّهِ وَ مَنْ تَخَلَّى مِنْهُمْ فَقَدْ تَخَلَّى مِنَ اللَّهِ أُشْهِدُ اللَّهَ أَنِّي مُسَلِّمٌ لَكُمْ سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمَكُمْ وَ حَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ بِسِرِّكُمْ وَ عَلَانِيَتِكُمْ مُفَوِّضٌ فِي ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ عَدُوَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ وَ أَبْرَأُ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْهُمْ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ هَذَا يُجْزِئُ فِي الْمَشَاهِدِ كُلِّهَا وَ تُكْثِرُ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ تُسَمِّي وَاحِداً وَاحِداً بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ وَ تَبْرَأُ مِنْ أَعْدَائِهِمْ وَ تَخَيَّرْ بِنَفْسِكَ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ وَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ لِلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ

1. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz Al-Kūfi narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā ibn ‘Ubayd, from someone whose name he mentioned, who said: Abul Ḥasan (Imam Hādi (a.s.)) said: Recite the following in Baghdad: Salām to you, O Walī of Allāh. Salām to you, O Allāh’s Decisive Proof. Salām to you, O Allāh’s light in the darkness of the earth. Salām to you, O one about whom Allāh modified His Will. I have come to you while I believe in your rights and I am the enemy of your enemies. Therefore, intercede for me with your Lord, O my master. Then supplicate to Allāh and ask for your needs. Thereafter, recite the same Salām in the Ziyārah of Abī Ja’far, Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali (Imam Jawād (a.s.)).He (Imam Hādi (a.s.)) said: When you want to go to the Ziyārah of Musā ibn Ja’far (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) and Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), cleanse yourself, perform Ghusl, wear your purified clothes, and then go the graves of Abil Ḥasan, Mūsā ibn Ja’far and Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali ibn Mūsā Al-Riďā (a.s.). When you arrive at the grave of Mūsā ibn Ja’far (a.s.) say: Salām to you, O Walī of Allāh. Salām to you, O Allāh’s Decisive Proof. Salām to you, O Allāh’s light in the darkness of the earth. Salām to you, O one about whom Allāh modified His will. I have come to you to perform your Ziyārah while I believe in your rights, I am the enemy of your enemies, and I befriend your friends. Therefore, intercede for me with your Lord, O my master. Then ask for your needs. Say Salām to Abī Ja’far, Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali Al-Jawād (a.s.), ensuring that Ghusl has been performed, by saying: O Allāh! Send Your blessing on Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali, the righteous, the pious, the pure Imam, who is pleased with You and with whom You are pleased, and Your Decisive Proof on those who are on the earths and those under the dust. (O Allāh! Send) an increasing, complete, purified, beautified, continuous, and a frequent blessing (on him) that is consecutive and greater than any of the blessings You have sent on any of Your friends. Salām to you, O Walī of Allāh. Salām to you, O light of Allāh. Salām to you, O Allāh’s Decisive Proof. Salām to you, O Imam of the believers and heir of the prophets. Salām to you, O Caliph of the prophets and O progeny of the successors. Salām to you, O Allāh’s light in the darkness of the earth. I have come to you to perform your Ziyārah while I believe in your rights, I am the enemy of your enemies, and I befriend your friends. Therefore, intercede for me with your Lord, O my master. Then ask for your needs, for verily, Allāh-Willing, they will be fulfilled.Imam (a.s.) said: Recite the following next to the grave of Abil Ḥasan (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)) in Baghdad – and you can recite the same in all of the sites (of the infallibles (a.s.)): Salām upon Allāh’s Divine Authorities and His Chosen Ones. Salām upon Allāh’s Loved Ones and His Trustees. Salām upon Allāh’s Supporters and His Caliphs. Salām upon the places in which Allāh can be known. Salām upon the houses in which Allāh is extolled. Salām upon those who manifest Allāh’s orders and His prohibitions. Salām upon the Ones who call (the people) toward Allāh. Salām upon the Ones who are settled firmly in that which pleases Allāh. Salām upon the Ones who are loyal in obeying Allāh. Salām upon the guides to Allāh. Salām upon the Ones whom those who follow them have followed Allāh, those who antagonize them have antagonized Allāh, those who know them have known Allāh, those who ignore them have ignored Allāh, those who seek refuge with them have sought refuge with Allāh, and those who abandon them have abandoned Allāh. I take Allāh as witness that I have submitted to you, I make peace with those who make peace with you, I antagonize those who antagonize you, I believe in that which is secret about you and that which is apparent about you, and I rely on you in all of this. May Allāh’s curse be upon the enemies of the family of Muḥammad from among the Jinn and mankind and I seek nearness to Allāh by dissociating myself from them. And may Allāh’s blessing be upon Muḥammad and his family. Imam (a.s.) added: This Ziyārah will suffice in all of the sites (of the infallibles (a.s.)). And (after reciting it), send blessings on Muḥammad (s.a.a.w.) and his family (a.s.) increasingly and name them one after the other and dissociate from their enemies. Then choose some supplications and pray for yourself and the believers from among the men and the women.

1 حَدَّثَنِي جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ دَاوُدَ الصَّرْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي (ع) قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ أَبِي فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

1. All of my scholars narrated to me from Sa’d (ibn ‘Abdillāh), from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Dāwūd Al-Sarmi, who said: I heard Abā Ja’far the Second (Imam Jawād (a.s.)) say: Those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of my father (Imam Riďā (a.s.)) will be rewarded with Paradise.

2 حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ دَاوُدَ الصَّرْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي (ع) قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ أَبِي فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

2. Ḥasan ibn ‘Abdillāh narrated to me from his father ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Dāwūd Al-Sarmi, who said: I heard Abā Ja’far the Second (Imam Jawād (a.s.)) say: Those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of my father (a.s.) will be rewarded with Paradise.
