1071. hadíth Majlisī: حسن كالصحيح

5ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) مَا كَادَ جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَأْتِينِي إِلا قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ اتَّقِ شَحْنَاءَ الرِّجَالِ وَعَدَاوَتَهُمْ.

5. Ali has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from al-Hassan ibn ‘Atiyyah from ‘Umr ibn Yazid from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Almost every time Jibril (Gabriel) on coming to me would say, “O Muhammad, guard (your) anger against men and animosity for them.’”

1072. hadíth Majlisī: صحيح

6ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) لِلنَّبِيِّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) إِيَّاكَ وَمُلاحَاةَ الرِّجَالِ.

6. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-Hassan ibn al-Husayn al-Kindy from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Jibril (Gabriel) said to the Holy Prophet, ‘Beware of engaging in disputes against men.’”

1073. hadíth Majlisī: مجهول

7ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَيَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْمَشَارَةَ فَإِنَّهَا تُورِثُ الْمَعَرَّةَ وَتُظْهِرُ الْمُعْوِرَةَ.

7. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Siyabah from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Guard (yourself) against engaging in disputes; it causes losses and reveals defects.”

1074. hadíth Majlisī: صحيح

8ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ الْعَابِدِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْخُصُومَةَ فَإِنَّهَا تَشْغَلُ الْقَلْبَ وَتُورِثُ النِّفَاقَ وَتَكْسِبُ الضَّغَائِنَ.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Mahbub from ‘Anbasah al-‘Abid from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Beware of disputing, for it occupies the heart, engenders hypocrisy, and breeds enmities.”

9ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) مَا كَادَ جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَأْتِينِي إِلا قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ اتَّقِ شَحْنَاءَ الرِّجَالِ وَعَدَاوَتَهُمْ.

9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from al- Hassan ibn ‘Atiyyah from ‘Umar ibn Yazid from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Almost every time Jibril (Gabriel), on coming to me, would say, “O Muhammad, guard (your) anger against men and animosity to them. ’” (This Hadith is a repeat of H 5 perhaps by the scribe)

1076. hadíth Majlisī: مجهول

10ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) مَا أَتَانِي جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَطُّ إِلا وَعَظَنِي فَ‏آخِرُ قَوْلِهِ لِي إِيَّاكَ وَمُشَارَّةَ النَّاسِ فَإِنَّهَا تَكْشِفُ الْعَوْرَةَ وَتَذْهَبُ بِالْعِزِّ.

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Mehran from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Jibril (Gabriel) never came to me without advice and guidance. The last advice that he brought was: “Beware of engaging in disputations against men; it reveals the defects and eliminates one’s high regard.’”

1077. hadíth Majlisī: حسن أو موثق

11ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ صَبِيحٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) فِي شَيْ‏ءٍ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ فِي مُعَادَاةِ الرِّجَالِ.

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn Isma’il from Fadl ibn Shadhan all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid from Walid ibn Sabih who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘The Messenger of Allah has said, “Jibril (Gabriel) never cautioned me so emphatically about anything as he did about opposition to men.’”

1078. hadíth Majlisī: مرفوع

12ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) مَنْ زَرَعَ الْعَدَاوَةَ حَصَدَ مَا بَذَرَ.

12. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from certain individuals of his people in a marfu’ manner the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Whoever plants animosity will reap what he has sown.’”

Anger

1079. hadíth Majlisī: ضعيف على المشهور

1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) الْغَضَبُ يُفْسِدُ الإيمَانَ كَمَا يُفْسِدُ الْخَلُّ الْعَسَلَ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Anger spoils belief just as vinegar spoils honey.”

2ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُيَسِّرٍ قَالَ ذُكِرَ الْغَضَبُ عِنْدَ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) فَقَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَغْضَبُ فَمَا يَرْضَى أَبَداً حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ النَّارَ فَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ غَضِبَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ فَلْيَجْلِسْ مِنْ فَوْرِهِ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّهُ سَيَذْهَبُ عَنْهُ رِجْزُ الشَّيْطَانِ وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ غَضِبَ عَلَى ذِي رَحِمَ فَلْيَدْنُ مِنْهُ فَلْيَمَسَّهُ فَإِنَّ الرَّحِمَ إِذَا مُسَّتْ سَكَنَتْ.

2. Abu Ali al-Ash’ari has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from his father from Muyassir who has said the following: “Once anger was mentioned before abu la’ far (a.s.) and he said, ‘Once a man is angered (unless something is done to control it) he will never become happy until he enters the fire. Therefore, whoever becomes angry with people if he is standing must sit down immediately. The filth of Satan goes away from him. Whenever one becomes angry with a relative he should reach out and touch him; when kinship is touched, it calms down.’”
