12ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) الْكَذَّابُ هُوَ الَّذِي يَكْذِبُ فِي الشَّيْ‏ءِ قَالَ لا مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلا يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ وَلَكِنَّ الْمَطْبُوعَ عَلَى الْكَذِبِ.

12. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj who has said the following: “Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘Is a liar one who lies about something?’ The Imam said, ‘No, there is no one who does not do so. It is those in whom lying becomes a thing of second nature.’”
