20ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ مُثَنًّى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَجْلانَ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْراهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا﴾ قَالَ: هُمُ الائِمَّةُ (عَلَيْهم السَّلام) وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَهُمْ.
20. Al-Husayn b. Muhammad from Mu'alla b. Muhammad from Al-Washaa from Muthanna from Abdullah b. Ajlan from Abu Ja'far (al-Baqir) (as) regarding His saying: «Indeed, the closest people to Ibrahim are those who followed him, and this prophet and those who believed» (3:67). He said: "They are the Imams and their followers."
21ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَائِذٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لابِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هذَا الْقُرْآنُ لانْذِرَكُمْ بِهِ وَمَنْ بَلَغَ قَالَ مَنْ بَلَغَ أَنْ يَكُونَ إِمَاماً مِنْ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَهُوَ يُنْذِرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَمَا أَنْذَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه )
21. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad `from al-Washsha’ from Ahmad ibn al-‘A’idh from ’Udhayna from Malik al-Juhanni who has said the following. “I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Gracious. “He has revealed this Quran to me to warn you and the coming generations (against disobeying God).. .” (6:19) The Imam (a.s.) said, “Whoever from the family of Muhammad (s.a.) would become an Imam he will warn people by means of the Holy Quran just as the the Messenger of Allah had done.”
22ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مُفَضَّلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَقَدْ عَهِدْنا إِلى آدَمَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَنَسِيَ وَلَمْ نَجِدْ لَهُ عَزْماً قَالَ عَهِدْنَا إِلَيْهِ فِي مُحَمَّدٍ وَالائِمَّةِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ فَتَرَكَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ عَزْمٌ أَنَّهُمْ هَكَذَا وَإِنَّمَا سُمِّيَ أُولُو الْعَزْمِ أُوْلِي الْعَزْمِ لانَّهُ عَهِدَ إِلَيْهِمْ فِي مُحَمَّدٍ وَالاوْصِيَاءِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَالْمَهْدِيِّ وَسِيرَتِهِ وَأَجْمَعَ عَزْمُهُمْ عَلَى أَنَّ ذَلِكَ كَذَلِكَ وَالاقْرَارِ بِهِ.
22. A number of our people has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Mufaddal ibn Salih from Jabir from abu Jaffar(a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Gracious. “We had commanded Adam (certain matters). He forgot Our commandment and We did not find in him the determination to fulfil Our commandments.” (20:115). The Imam (a.s.) said, “It means that Allah commanded Adam about Muhammad (s.a.) and the Imams after him. He did not acknowledge it (Leadership with Divine Authority of the Imams) and he was not an ’Ulu al-‘Azm (a prophet who is granted greater determination. They arecalled ’Ulu al-‘Azm because with a covenant was established to acknowledge (Leadership with Divine Authority) of Muhammad (s.a.) and the executors of his will and al-Mahdi and his discipline. They establish their determination to acknowledge (Leadership with Divine Authority) of Muhammad and th executors of his will.”
23ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ الله عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْقُمِّيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِهِ وَلَقَدْ عَهِدْنا إِلى آدَمَ مِنْ قَبْلُ كَلِمَاتٍ فِي مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلِيٍّ وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ وَالائِمَّةِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمْ فَنَسِيَ هَكَذَا وَالله نَزَلَتْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه )
23. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad, from Mu'alla ibn Muhammad, from Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from Muhammad ibn 'Isa al-Qummi, from Muhammad ibn Sulayman, from 'Abdillah ibn Sinan, from Abu 'Abdillah (AS), regarding the saying of Allah, "And We had taken a covenant from Adam before, with certain words" -referring to Muhammad, Ali, Fatima, Hasan, Husayn, and the Imams (AS) from their descendants- "But he [Adam] forgot." (20:115) This, by Allah, is how it was revealed to Muhammad (sw).
24ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَادٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنِ الثُّمَالِيِّ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ أَوْحَى الله إِلَى نَبِيِّهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِي أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ عَلى صِراطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ قَالَ إِنَّكَ عَلَى وَلايَةِ عَلِيٍّ وَعَلِيٌّ هُوَ الصِّرَاطُ الْمُسْتَقِيمُ.
24. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Nadr ibn Shu‘ayb from Khalid ibn Ma’dd from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from al-Thumali from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) who has said the following. “Allah sent revelation to His prophet (s.a) in which He has said, “Follow devotedly that which is revealed to you. You are certainly on the right path.” (43:43) The Imam (a.s.) said, “It is just as saying, ‘You have acknowledged the Leadership with Divine Authority of Ali (a.s.) and Ali is on the right path.”
25ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ مُنَخَّلٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ نَزَلَ جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) بِهَذِهِ الايَةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) هَكَذَا بِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْا بِهِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ أَنْ يَكْفُرُوا بِما أَنْزَلَ الله فِي عَلِيٍّ بَغْياً.
25. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Barqi from his father Muhammad ibn Sinan from ‘Ammar ibn Marwan from Munakhkhal from Jabir from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) who has said the following. “Jibril brought this verse to Muhammad (s.a). “Evil is that for which they have sold their souls: They have refused to accept God’s revelations (about Leadership with Divine Authority of Ali (a.s.)) in rebellion. .” (2:90)”
26ـ وَبِهَذَا الاسْنَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ مُنَخَّلٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ نَزَلَ جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) بِهَذِهِ الايَةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ هَكَذَا وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِمَّا نَزَّلْنا عَلى عَبْدِنا فِي عَلِيٍّ فَأْتُوا بِسُورَةٍ مِنْ مِثْلِهِ.
26. Through the same chain of narrators it is narrated Muhammad ibn Sinan from ‘Ammar ibn Marwan from Munakhkhal from Jabir who has said the following. “Jibril this verse of the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (s.a) as herein below. “Should you have any doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, (about Leadership Ali (a.s). with Divine Authority) present one chapter comparable to it . .” (2:23)
27ـ وَبِهَذَا الاسْنَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ مُنَخَّلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ نَزَلَ جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) بِهَذِهِ الايَةِ هَكَذَا يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتابَ آمِنُوا بِما نَزَّلْنا فِي عَلِيٍّ نُوراً مُبِيناً.
27. Through the same chain of narrators it is narrated Muhammad ibn Sinan from ‘Ammar ibn Marwan from Munakhkhal from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following. “Jibril brought the following verse to Prophet Muhammad (s.a). “People of the Book, have faith in the what We have revealed (about Ali’s Leadership with Divine Authority). .” (4:47)
28ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ بَكَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ فَعَلُوا ما يُوعَظُونَ بِهِ فِي عَلِيٍّ لَكانَ خَيْراً لَهُمْ.
28. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father from abu Talib from Yunus ibn Bakkar from his father from Jabir from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) who has said the following. “If they had done what they had been advised to do (acknowledge Ali’s Leadership with Divine Authority), it would have been for their good and to strengthen their faith.” (4:66)
29ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ مُثَنًّى الْحَنَّاطِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَجْلانَ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ادْخُلُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً وَلا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُواتِ الشَّيْطانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ قَالَ فِي وَلايَتِنَا.
29. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from Muthanna al-Hannat from ‘Abdallah ibn ‘Ajlan from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious. “Believers, submit yourselves to the will of God as a whole. Do not follow the footsteps of Satan; he is your sworn enemy. (2:208) The Imam (a.s.) said, “It means submit yourselves to our Leadership with Divine Authority.”
